Inbound RFID is a receiving and reconciliation workflow: identify the expected load, observe the handoff, validate the result and post only the event the warehouse system can act on.
01 / FIELD NOTE
Start with the expected receipt
Map the purchase, appointment, shipment, item hierarchy and destination fields that the receiving process owns. Define the unit being identified and how a tag maps to the expected record.
02 / FIELD NOTE
Define the read point
Record the lane or station, movement direction, trigger, operator action, tag placement and nearby items. Treat the physical read zone and receiving event as one testable boundary.
03 / FIELD NOTE
Reconcile before posting
Compare observed identities with the expected receipt, handle duplicates and missing tags, and make partial or unexpected loads visible for review. A reader report does not by itself confirm quantity or receipt.
04 / FIELD NOTE
Close the exception path
Define who resolves an unreadable, unexpected or out-of-sequence item, what evidence is retained and when the warehouse system receives the accepted event.
Bring your material, movement, target read and system context to a sample or quote request.
