RFID entry and exit security workflow

A controlled entry or exit workflow combines identity, direction, timing, authorization and a response path. Design the event contract before selecting a reader arrangement.

A controlled entry or exit workflow combines identity, direction, timing, authorization and a response path. Design the event contract before selecting a reader arrangement.

01 / FIELD NOTE

Define identity and direction

Record which item, load unit or asset may cross the boundary, the allowed direction and the location that owns the event. Separate an observed identity from an approved movement.

02 / FIELD NOTE

Set timing and state

Define the trigger, dwell window, duplicate-read rule, expected prior state and next system event. Include a partial pass, reverse movement and an unexpected tag.

03 / FIELD NOTE

Plan the response

Assign the review owner and the action for an authorized, unexpected, missing or uncertain movement. The physical indicator and the system status should communicate the same decision.

04 / FIELD NOTE

Protect the record

Limit access to identity and event data by role, retain the evidence needed for review and define safe recovery when the reader, network or connected application is unavailable.

Make the next conversation specific.

Bring your material, movement, target read and system context to a sample or quote request.
