Internal transfers need a shared definition of source, destination, custody and timing. Use RFID observations as evidence for a controlled movement event, not as an assumed location update.
01 / FIELD NOTE
Define the transfer unit
Record the item, container, case, pallet or asset being moved, its current owner and its destination. Keep packaging hierarchy and identity ownership explicit when several levels travel together.
02 / FIELD NOTE
Set source and destination
Map the originating and receiving locations, read points, direction, trigger and expected time window. Include staging areas and nearby zones that should not create a transfer.
03 / FIELD NOTE
Confirm custody
Define which observation or operator action marks handoff, what the receiving party checks and how partial, duplicate or unexpected identities are handled before the system state changes.
04 / FIELD NOTE
Keep a recoverable record
Retain the raw observation, normalized transfer event, exception reason and recovery action according to the project policy. Re-test when locations, traffic or item grouping changes.
Bring your material, movement, target read and system context to a sample or quote request.
